Author Guidelines
Preparation of Manuscripts
Names and institutional affiliations, including country and addresses, of all contributing authors are required. One author must be clearly designated as the corresponding author.
The manuscript must include:
Authors must ensure that the manuscript is thoroughly spell-checked and grammar-checked prior to submission.
All references cited in the text must appear in the reference list, and all references listed must be cited in the manuscript.
For all figures, tables, charts, and images, authors must ensure that appropriate permissions have been obtained where required.
The language used in the title, abstract, and main body of the paper must be clear, professional, and accessible to a global audience.
The content of the manuscript must be clearly aligned with the scope of IJAMBI, which includes but is not limited to adaptive management practices, business intelligence, analytics-driven decision-making, organisational strategy, and data-informed business innovation.
Manuscripts Should Include
For empirical and applied research papers, manuscripts should include:

A clear statement of principal findings

A discussion of the strengths and limitations of the study, including aspects related to research design, methodology, or data sources

The practical and managerial implications of the study, where applicable, including relevance for managers, business leaders, policymakers, and organisational stakeholders

A discussion of unresolved issues, limitations, and directions for future research

Authors are required to prepare their manuscripts using the official IJAMBI journal template.

Author Rights
The International Journal of Adaptive Management and Business Intelligence (IJAMBI) is published under an open-access model by Femington. Authors retain copyright and scholarly usage rights to their work.
By publishing in IJAMBI, authors grant the journal a license to publish the article and to identify itself as the original publisher, in accordance with the journal’s licensing terms.
Plagiarism and Research Misconduct
IJAMBI is committed to maintaining the highest standards of research integrity. All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection tools as part of the editorial and peer-review process.
The journal takes reasonable and proactive measures to identify and prevent the publication of manuscripts involving research misconduct, including but not limited to:
Submissions are compared against databases of scholarly publications using web-based tools. Manuscripts found to violate research integrity standards may be rejected, corrected, or retracted in accordance with accepted publishing ethics and best practices.
Responsible Conduct of Research and Ethics
Authors submitting to IJAMBI are expected to uphold the principles of responsible and ethical research conduct in all aspects of their work. This includes maintaining intellectual honesty, transparency, and integrity in scholarly and professional research practices.
The journal’s ethical framework is informed by internationally recognised standards for research integrity. Authors are encouraged to consult the journal’s policies on responsible conduct of research and authorship for additional guidance.
Criteria for Authorship
Authorship is limited to individuals who have made substantial intellectual or scholarly contributions to the research and who agree to take responsibility for the published work.
Significant contributions may include one or more of the following:

Acquisition of data requiring substantial intellectual judgment, planning, or analytical design

Contribution of domain-specific knowledge relevant to management or business intelligence

Analysis or interpretation of data

Drafting substantial sections of the manuscript or critically revising it to enhance intellectual content
All authors must approve the final version of the manuscript prior to submission.
Declaration of Interest
All authors are required to disclose any financial, professional, or personal relationships that could be perceived as influencing the research or its interpretation. Any potential conflicts of interest must be declared at the time of submission.
Acknowledgements and Funding
Individuals who contributed to the research or manuscript preparation but do not meet the criteria for authorship should be acknowledged. Authors must clearly disclose all sources of funding, including the role of any funding body in the research design, data analysis, or publication process.
Research Data and Transparency
IJAMBI encourages authors to share datasets, analytical code, and supporting materials, where appropriate and ethically permissible, to promote transparency, reproducibility, and responsible data-driven research.
Ethics Approval and Consent
Manuscripts reporting research involving human participants, organisational data, or sensitive business information must include a statement confirming ethics approval and informed consent, where applicable. The name of the approving ethics committee and relevant reference numbers should be provided.
