The rapid evolution of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies is transforming healthcare delivery by enabling real-time patient monitoring and innovative care solutions. At the same time, the vast streams of data generated by connected medical devices require robust security measures to ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and availability (the CIA triad). This paper presents an integrated approach that combines advanced communication security protocols with data analytics techniques within IoT-enabled healthcare systems. Focusing on the application layer, we explore the use of hybrid cryptographic methods to safeguard sensitive patient information while also outlining strategies for leveraging data analytics to extract actionable insights from continuous data streams. By uniting secure communication practices with analytical methodologies, the framework aims to not only protect patient data but also enhance clinical decision-making and operational efficiency. This dual focus ensures that the underlying body of work remains relevant to both secure data transmission and the evolving role of analytics in modern healthcare.
